My Review
5 Royal Stars!!

The Wrath and the Dawn is book one in this series, I'm sure sure how many books will be in it or if it will be a duology but I am hoping for more than just the two because I don't think I will ever want it to end. I was swept away with this amazing storyline and I need more, so much more.

“My soul sees its equal in you.”

I randomly came upon this book because someone on Goodreads had liked a 5 star review and I was wanting to find a good book to get into. When I clicked on it and read the synopsis I was like oh this story I have heard of. Someone told me it or read it to me and for the life in me I can not remember who. If it is you, you the person reading this review do let me know! This story always intrigued me since the moment I heard it and so I got this book.

First let me touch on the fact that me and YA have quite a bumpy relationship. I always say I'm not a massive fan because I find that the characters or storyline is just not for me and characters come across immature. BUT then we get the amazing YA books that make you question if that was a YA novel you read because it blew your mind. This was soo one of those extraordinary ones that takes you away to a whole new world and when you close the book you realise how dull reality is compared to this colourful setting of this book.

The writing had a poetic essence to it taking you away into a far away land. The characters were amazing I need to know more, what the hell happened? What will happen next. Tariq annoyed me, just go away! And Jalal intrigued me I want to see him getting maybe a few chapters in the next book or having his own book because I need to know his story and how he reacts to what happens near the end of the book. Khalid, the King is such a tortured soul and he deserves happiness and I'm hoping it all ends well and he gets a happily ever after. I'm hoping Shahrzad is pregnant *fingers crossed*

The release date is too far away!!

Review: A Perfect Ten (Forbidden Men, #5) by Linda Kage

Synopsis

Let your hair down, Caroline, they said. It'll be fun, they said.

I know I've closed myself off in a major way over the past year, ever since “the incident” where I messed up my life completely. It's past time I try to live again or just give up altogether. But this is quite possibly the craziest thing I've ever done. In a last ditch effort to invigorate myself, I'm standing outside Oren Tenning's bedroom, I just peeled off the sexiest pair of underwear I own, and my hand is already raised to knock. My brother would disown me for doing anything with his best friend, and he'd probably kill Oren. But if I play my cards right, no one will ever know about this. Not even Ten.

Maybe after tonight, I’ll finally get over this stupid, irrational crush I hate having on the biggest jerk I’ve ever met. Or maybe I’ll just end up falling for him even harder. Maybe I’ll discover there’s so much more to my crude, carefree hunk than meets the eye

My Review

5 Perfect Stars!!

"You're seriously breaking all my rules. You know that right?"
Her smile just grew.
"I'm beginning to get a clue"

Linda Kage continues to blow me away.As soon as I start any book of hers I just can't stop until I have finished it.So yeah all yesterday I was sneaking around trying to get a little extra reading in because I needed more, I just couldn't put it down and then wait this is the worst part..it ended! How fukin dare it end when I'm not done with it yet? I wanted it to carry on for at least 300 pages more or forever..that works too.

I was already a Caroline fan since I met her in Quinn's book, I'm not sure if she is in any other book I started the series from Be my hero and need to read the previous two books. And Ten was always a joker, at times rude and annoying but I always knew there would be more to him. LK made me fall in love with Oren so hard and gave this book a bit of everything. At times I was laughing out loud and the next on the verge of tears. Caroline was funny and obviously Oren was bloody hilarious, at times he said inappropriate things and still made them sound sweet and adorable!

“What the fuck have you done to me Caroline? … Why couldn’t I stay away from you? … Why can’t I get enough of you? … What do I want to own every fucking piece of you?”

There were so many parts I wasn't expecting I went in kind of thinking it would be angsty and Caroline and Oren would be going back and forth, not knowing what they wanted. It wasn't like that, there was s much more to it.And finally Caroline's past all made sense and so did Oren's. There was such a deep sadness in his life, he was constantly battling it all, yet you would have never have known because he was so good at hiding it. You look at him and see this happy go lucky character, the class clown, not someone who has a big part of himself hidden even from his closest friends.

I can not wait to carry on with this series even though I'm not sure who this next character is but Linda Kage is awesome and I'm sure I will love whoever this Knox guy is as well, another author whose books will be ones I need to buy in paperback one day! I would definitely re-read them, well I have already re-read Picks book ;)

My Review
5 STARS!!

After reading The dark light of day I added T.M.Frazier on my list of authors I needed to stalk and read every book they write. When the first book they write turns out to be frikin amaaazing you feel like what if the next book doesn't live up to your expectations because the bars been set pretty high right now. Well let me tell you Mrs Frazier just keeps upping her game.

Every book she has written has you up at night reading like you don't have to wake up the next day. There are never regrets the next day when you are walking around like a zombie answering questions with random words that make no sense since your mind is still stuck in the book you read the night before. Oh add in the cliffhanger that has you trying to figure out what will happen next and then staring at your calendar hoping days would go faster since release date seems too far away. And who the hell can wait so long. So yeah you are slowly dying day by day. Thanks T.M.Frazier!

"If you fuck with me and what's mine, then yes, I am the judge. I am the jury. And sometimes when the situation calls for it, I am the motherfucking executioner."

It all starts out with Doe, a woman who has lost her memory who stumbles across King and everything changes.King has just came out of prison and is finding out that he doesn't enjoy the lifestyle as much as he once did.He is a tattoo artist with a business which he runs with his partner Preppy. They were two kids with rough past and they dreamed of making it big. Doe wasn't planned for, she just walked in and things changed. King is drawn to her, she isn't like him yet they fit so perfectly together.

'King filled me so completely. Not just my body. My heart. My soul. My life. I didn't give a shit if I ever got my memory back. Because with King, I knew exactly who I was.'

This book broke my heart and left my emotions all over the place and then the cliffhanger? omg give me a break woman! I loved the main characters but what was great about this book was I loved the secondary characters just as much. Bear and Preppy! I love Preppy. If you don't love Preppy then I'm sorry we can't be friends.Everyone needs a Preppy in their life. I can not wait to find out more abut Bear he is such a loyal character and he intrigues me.

I recommend this book to everyone. You just need to read this book, actually read all of T.M. Frazier's books. You won't regret it ;)

Review: Hearts of Fire (Hearts, #2) by L.H. Cosway

Synopsis

The Circus Spektakulär is proud to present Jack McCabe: Fire-breather, knife-thrower, risk-taker. My house burned down when I was just a boy, robbing me of both my parents.

Now I breathe fire, eat the poison that almost killed me.

Crowds come to see me night after night. Men for the spectacle, women for the thrill. I’m an oddity to be stared at and desired. With each flame I spit, I risk my life.I wear scars on my body that will never go away, but the scars inside my head are far more difficult to overlook. My brother doesn’t know me, and if I have it my way he never will.

Life was going exactly the way I’d planned until Lille came along. She wanted to run away with the circus, have an adventure, but this world was never meant for her.I try to keep her safe, because she doesn’t know the dangers that are out here on the road. She doesn’t know the monsters that lurk behind the bright lights of the ring. In truth, I could be considered one of them.

We were fashioned from different cloths, never intended to mix. So I watch her. I try not to touch, even when her eyes invite me.

Join us in the Spiegeltent and let us give you a show. Allow my Lille to draw a picture for you in paint and sweat and skin.

The truest love is always the hardest to let in.

This is a standalone romance that tells the story of Jack McCabe, Jay Fields’ long lost, presumed dead brother. It is not necessary to have read Six of Hearts in order to enjoy Hearts of Fire.

My Review

4.5 Stars!!

I can't thank L.H.Cosway enough for providing me an ARC of this awesome book.I was over the moon and couldnt wait to jump in. After reading Kiss an angel By Susan Elizabeth Phillips I have been looking for books set in a circus and I have had no luck until now! Romance novel set in the circus. Hell yeah I want in. If you are reading this review and have read or know of any other circus book please do let me know, I will love you foreveeerrrr!

This book instantly grabbed me and I was left with a book hangover which took me a while get over.I haven't read Six of hearts but after this book I will be reading it asap. You don't have to read it before reading this book since its a standalone but you should anyways, I'm sure it will be worth it.I'm intrigued to find out more about Jay.

"You smell like me.Do you know how much that drives me crazy? God,you're perfect, too perfect. You make me feel so wretched.I want to consume you, steal your light and make myself a little bit more. You're more Lille.I want to be more, too."

This authors writing style is beautiful, it flows so well and makes you want to keep reading. This book was magical, filled with intriguing characters, love, passion and so much more. The main characters Jack and Lille are very likable characters as well as many others you meet and there is so much more than meets the eye. This book took me on a journey and I felt it, every emotion, the excitement of the activities happening at the circus, the love, the heartache and I just never wanted it to end.

I felt like I was walking through a dream. Who makes an offer to some random girl to join their circus? It was crazy and I was happily drowning in the madness.

I fell in love with Jack, everything about him.Loved! I think the ending could have had a little bit more. Can Jack and Lille get a novella? I need more from them. Also the near the end it felt like Jay took over..slightly.I wanted something more to wrap it all up. Other than that, brilliant book I would definitely recommend and I can not wait for King's book!

My Review

5 Fantastic Stars!!

This is the first Julie Garwood book I have read, can you believe it? I can't. I loved this book, its definately going on my favourites shelf and one I will probably re-read when I'm in the mood for it. If you love strong female leads, alpha males or highlander historical romances this is the perfect book for you!

He'd deliberately lengthened his speech, giving her time to react to his announcement. He thought he was being most considerate.

She thought he was demented.

'Jamie was, at first, too stunned to do more than stare in horror at the warlord. When she finally gained her voice, she shouted, "It will be a frigid day in heaven before I marry you, milord, a frigid day indeed."
"You've just described the Highlands in winter, lass. And you will marry me."
"Never."
Exactly one hour later, Lady Jamison was wed to Alec Kincaid.”

This book kept me awake at night I just did not want to put it down! I'm going to be adding every Julie Garwood book to my TBR..because there aren't enough already ;) Jamie was a strong lead and Alec was just awesome. They were so funny together and some parts made me smile so hard, giggle and other made my heart hurt. I can't wait to read more by this author!

“My wife."

"By what name is she called, Kincaid?"
"Mine.”

My Review

5 Awesome Stars!!

Omg why have I not seen this book before? This is exactly what I needed to back into the reading mode. Since the start of January I have been in a book funk and it has been killing me.So here is to the first 5 star read of 2015.YAYY!!

It's been a while since I have read paranormal, I was getting sick of contemporary romance/erotica that I have been reading and really needed a change I was supposed to start a thriller but when I saw this one whilst browsing through GoodReads I just had to buy it and start straight away. And I'm so glad I did.I could not but this down, I inhaled this book. Who needs sleep? Not me!

“I am cursed with a terminal case of curiosity," he said. "I am jealous, selfish, acquisitive, territorial and possessive. I have a terrible temper, and I know I can be a cruel son of a bitch." He cocked his head. "I used to eat people, you know.”

So the main male character is a dragon.Yes that's right.A frikin Dragon. I thought that I would find him..meh the whole dragon thing I haven't really read about but omg I loved Dragos. Come on, look at that quote, of course I would love him! And I really like the main female character who is called Pia. She is strong, funny and they were so perfect for each other. I'm disappointed that Pia and Dragos's story doesn't continue, or maybe it does but the next book isn't about them! I thought they would stay main characters throughout the series :( But hey I still want to read on and find out more because I did really like the supporting characters. Can't wait to find out their story.

“A dragon just gave me a piece of jewelry,” she said. She took another swig and handed the bottle back to Graydon. “Have I been added to his hoard?”

He shook his head and drank too. “No, cupcake,” he said. “I’m pretty sure you’ve replaced it.” .

This is a well written book which will take you to a place you won't want to return from.On an adventure you didn't know you needed until you start this book. I need more books like this one! I would recommend this to every Paranormal lover :D

Review: Taut: The Ford Book (Rook and Ronin Spinoff) by J.A. Huss

Synopsis
Ford Aston is known for many things. Being an emotionless, messed up bastard, a freakishly smart social outcast, and a cold, domineering master who keeps "pets" instead of girlfriends.

And after Rook broke his heart, he plans to keep it that way.

Ashleigh is known for nothing, and that's exactly what she's got going for her. She's broke, stranded in the mountains with a three month old baby, and Ford Aston is screwing with her head.

Big. Time.

And she plans to mess with his right back.

It's a coy game at first, filled with flirting, and innuendo--but Ford soon realizes something is not quite right with Ashleigh. In fact, something is seriously, seriously wrong and the closer they get to their final destination, the closer Ford gets to the truth.

One night of devastation, self-loathing, and emptiness turns into the best thing that ever happened to Ford Aston. But one day of in-your-face reality threatens Ashleigh's whole existence.

Ford first appears in Rook and Ronin #2, Manic. He has a bigger role in Panic, R&R #3, and then he has a novella, called SLACK. This TAUT book is only FORD. It's not really part of the R&R series, as that plot has all been sidelined for this one romance book.

My Review
5 Taut Stars!!
Why haven't I read any book by this author before? Where have I been?!
I have seen a lot of people go on about the series by this author but the synopsis of this one caught my eyes and I was like that's it I'm putting everything down and getting this book. And then I won a giveaway which allowed to to choose any ebook and of course I chose this one because this looked like a perfect book for me and obviously looking at what I rated it,you can tell that it sooo was!

I haven't read the 'Rook and Ronin' Series and maybe I really should? I think I would recommend reading the series first because there were a few moments of confusion for me when I didn't really know the background stuff and was curious.I'm also going to go through and add every J.A.Huss book to my TBR shelf. Thanks J.A.Huss, like I needed more on that list ;)

'I will never- ever-care for another woman for as long as I live.

I will never allow myself to be weak like this again.'

It all starts when we see Ford running away from something he needed to accept and try move on from.He thinks he needs to be alone but its the opposite, he needs someone to love.Someone who will love him with everything in her.He is fed up of being lonely, or left behind.Ford has never been normal so he wears smart clothes and tries to blend in. Being stuck in a snow storm and his car breaking down and being faced with people from his past, well things aren't looking good. That is until he decides to do something nice and let a woman with a baby sleep in the same room as him.

They are both lost and struggling to carry on in a way and when they find each other at just the right time. They need someone to hold on to and that becomes each other. There were so many parts of this book i really wasn't expecting and I didn't want it to end, I kept checking the percentage and then having a mini panic attack because I was somehow reading this fast, or it was just the fact that I could not stop reading.

'You can be appreciated for who you are, even if your only talent is a little bit strange and that seems to have no value.Because everyone is valuable.'

^Love this. This is another one going into my favourites list and another for my I-Need-This-In-Paperback shelf.Love the cover and Ford, my new book boyfriend, Where can I find him? I liked him with all his quirks and everything! My heart broke for Ashleigh. Loved Kate and Ford moments, I need more.I wanted the ending to be extended! Can't wait to read more from this author..but right now I have a book hangover :(

EXCERPT

His heart beat like a drum—fast and hard and loud.
His breath blew strong like a windstorm, his chest contracting with his harsh pants.
Fear seeped from his bones, from every cell of his being, his hands shaking like a leaf and sweat dropped from his hot skin.
"Welcome to hell, boy."
These four words greeted Boy as he was brutally propelled into a dank basement by a hugely built guard. Everywhere was black; the blackest of black. The guards wore black, the walls of the truck that had brought him here was black, the sky outside was black and the windowless room they now stood in, black. The stagnant air was humid and thick, the temperature in the room, scalding. The stench of slick grease, sweat, and something more putrid burned Boy's nostrils making him retch and his feet stuck to the sticky, grimy ground.
Hell, Boy thought, considering the guard’s words. It was a living breathing hell.
Then the guard pushed him again, this time down a steep, slippery staircase, dull lights sunken into the walls. The high brick walls were a browning-yellowing color and ancient fans whined in the background vainly attempting to cool the too-hot air. Overhead pipes steadily dripped raw sewage on the concrete floor and rats and other vermin swarmed around his feet.
The place was a shithole.
Once again, a heavy hand pushed Boy's back, thrusting him down a narrow hallway. With every step, Boy could hear his breath echo louder in his ears. With every step, he could feel his pounding heart slam harder in his chest at an almost bruising rate. And with every step, he could hear more and more loudly a raucous cacophony coming from straight ahead, just beyond a thick-looking iron door. People were screaming and jeering, accompanied by the unmistakable sound of metal clanging against metal.
Boy’s eyes were wide as he stared at the door, his nostrils flaring with terror. Nothing in this place screamed ‘safe’; in fact, with every new turn all he felt was pure terror.
The guard reached around Boy; loudly and slowly he knocked twice on the iron door, each knock thudding through his chest like a canon. Locks unbolted, keys jingled, and finally, the iron door cracked open.
Boy's eyes widened in disbelief as he drank in the scene. Grown men were everywhere in the overcrowded room. There wasn’t a spare inch free, sweaty bodies pushing and shoving one another from thick wall to thick wall. The men were drinking vodka, exchanging money, hands waving in excitement as they all faced straight ahead, their focus set on something just ahead.
"Move, boy," the guard ordered. Boy dragged his feet, reluctant to step across the threshold into “hell.” But he couldn’t move. He was frozen to the spot, his legs shaking and a dizziness spun in his head.
Gripping the scruff of Boy's neck, the guard tightened his hold, making Boy wince as he was steered aggressively through the baying crowd. Grown men stopped and sized up Boy, some in approval, most in dismissal. They all became a blur to Boy, the sight and smells too much for him to process.
Boy felt faint. His lungs burned with the velocity of his short breaths. Boy's fingers shook in sympathy with his fear, but he shook his head, cleared his fearful thoughts like his father had taught him to do and he managed to keep his head held high, meeting the owner of each curious stare right in the eye.
As the crowd slowly parted, Boy startled at the scene in front of him—a huge floor-to-ceiling square steel cage, the tops wrapped with sharp razor wire, with flashes of movement coming from within. Pained grunts and spurts of blood escaped the cage, splattering his gray-uniformed chest and bare face. This time no breath came from his lungs at all. He was frozen; frozen on the spot with shock, the tinny scent of blood invading his nose.
Boy couldn’t believe his eyes. Could not digest the sight that greeted him: pain, cut flesh, cries, blood… so much pain and blood.
Suddenly, a wash of putrid breath blew past his ear. Boy flinched as he inhaled the sickening stench of stale food and acrid tobacco smoke.
"Drink it in, boy. That will be you in the cage before too long."
Boy held his breath until his chest could take no more. He exhaled sharply, resisting the urge to cough or cry out.
Boy had been taught from a very young age never to show emotion. His father would punish him if he dared complain, never mind cry. He refused to start here and now. Boy resolved to remain composed, lugubrious, and stoic anything he had to be to get through this… this, whatever the hell it was.
A loud rip sounded from the cage, the sound slicing down his back and bringing vomit to his mouth. As a huge spectator abruptly moved out of the way smiling in celebration, everything became clear. The fighters in the cage were kids… boys who looked no older than himself.
And they were fighting… to the death…

MY REVIEW
5 I Love Raze Stars!!

“Whatever our souls are made of—“

“His and mine are the same...”

I was so excited to get my hands on this book.Just read the bloody synopsis and tell me does it not make you want the book, like right now? I'm so happy I got an arc, I just knew I would love this one. Tillie Cole can you quit blowing me away with your awesome books? This book is awesome, one of those books you can not stop reading and you are up all night and you never want it to finish.

I don't want to give anything away, you just need to grab this book and hold on tight because it will be one hell of a roller-coaster ride. I was captivated and hooked from the first page and fell in love with Raze. My heart hurt for him and also for Kisa. They belonged together and always would. No matter what happened they would eventually find each other.

“You’re Raze, you’re death. Let’s fucking Raze hell!”

A boy who was turned into a killing machine.A girl who had to adapt to brutality and abuse to survive. Raze was turned into a monster but he once had a life, he is sure he did.He just can't remember it anymore. He only knows one thing, he needs revenge. He will kill the man who put him in a cage, who made him who he is.Who turned him into nothing, he would finally get revenge.

'I killed because I had to. I had no other choice. I was already dead, no more than a number; stripped of morals, stripped of freedom and stripped of life. I was an animal conditioned to inflict pain without remorse. And you cannot kill someone who has no soul.'

I was clutching on and waiting to see what would happen next. This book made me feel, too many emotions and I wanted to save both Kisa and Raze.Their parts made my heart melt aww! Raze was just perfect!! Ahh I don't even know what to say, I'm lost for words.

Kisa was also a great character and she was put in some horrible situations an proved to be a survivor. They were always meant to be together, they fit like two jig-saw puzzles. The chemistry, the feelings ah just everything. I loved how the story came together, the twists and turns and the characters. Tillie Cole give me more!! Highly recommend this book. Can not wait to read more books by this author, I am addicted :D

AUTHOR BIO

Amazon & USA Today Best Selling Author, Tillie Cole is a Northern girl through and through. She originates from a place called Teesside on that little but awesomely sunny (okay I exaggerate) Isle called Great Britain.
