My Review

3 Black Box Stars!!

I have had this arc for a while and finally got round to it. I don't know what it was I thought would happen in this book but its really wasn't anything like i was expecting. I thought it was well written yet at times I felt like its was too slow for me, it dragged at times and I wanted it to pick up speed.I loved how this book was unique and the synopsis really draws you in.

This book alternates between Crush and Mikki's POV so we get to know both the characters as individuals and what is happening in their life.I always love dual POVs since I feel like it makes you feel more connected to both characters and you don't feel as frustrated with their actions because you can kind of see where they are coming from.

Mikki's POV was written really well and it was pretty depressing being in her head. She wanted to die, she had finally had enough.Totally felt what she was feeling yet I wanted to reach in and change it all. Scream that she couldn't kill herself, keep fighting!It was like no hope left and then in walks Crush and things start looking up.Pieces start joining together and we find about how they met before and what happened in the past to change both their lives.

I loved Crush! Bless him, he was so patient and loving.He also had a rough past, one that still haunts him but Mikki changed his life a few years back. He just didn't know who she was at that point.But another meeting, different circumstances and fate pushing to make them meet. What will happen? Will it all end in tragedy?

Overall it was okay but I don't think it was a book for me. I didn't really that connected to the characters and wanted more from the ending.This is the first book I have read by Cassia Leo and since lots of her books have been recommended to me I will check them out and see how they go!

4 BROKEN, I-NEED-MORE STARS!!

After reading some crap books I decided to start this book in hopes that it would bring me out of the book funk.I see some good reviews and now I know why.When I see Fans of Fifty Shades of Grey, Bared to You, and Release Me will be hooked.. I am like damn I need to read that book as I loved them books! It made me thing that this book would contain a broken alpha male who finds a women who accepts him in all his brokenness and so on..Yeah this book wasn't like that.There wasn't BDSM involved and Ethan wasn't really controlling a it was much more softer and sweeter.

Ruined is book 1 of the Ethan Frost series by Tracy Wolff, this is the first book I have read by this author and I want more.I loved the chemistry between Ethan and Chloe, the way they teased each other and the banter was awesome, made me laugh especially the smoothie scene.

His hands come up to cup my face, to tilt my head this way and that so he can delve deeper. So I can welcome him wholly inside me. And I do. For these few, stolen moments out of time, I welcome everything he can give me.

Chloe is broken and fragile even though she puts up a good front, after having a rough past she is still trying to get her life back on track.trying to be in control, trying to be normal again, but lets face it she was never normal, not after what she faced and she may never be normal.

First day of her summer internship at Frost Industries and this is what she has always wanted, to be here. Strong independent and trying to get herself through school.She has a plan and she is in control.Things don't seem to go as planned when Ethan Frost sets his eyes on her.He sees more then she wants him to and he is determined to have her.

Chloe has never felt like this before, she is confused and scared as much as she wants to push Ethan away and have him out of her life, she can't.He feels safe, he makes everything better.

In that one, perfect moment, I want more. I want everything. Everything I’ve denied myself since I was fifteen years old. Everything I’ve told myself I don’t want and shouldn’t have.

Ethan..Oh Ethan! He is awesome I loved how he was different, he didn't come across as a cold, serious or impatient.I loved how he treated her as someone precious, he was gentle and wanted to be there for her.He could tell that she had been through some tough times but didn't know much else, yet he wanted to help. His touch healed her, mended some of the cracks in her heart.

You see that he has demons of his own yet all the secrets haven't been revealed, there is much more to the story which I am dying to find out about.The ending..omg cliffhanger! I knew if would be a cliffhanger but I saw hot alpha male and was like cliffhanger what? I will read this book and I will complain when I finish because I have to wait until the next book *sniffs* I knew it I knew it! I was somewhat shocked and then at the back of my mind I knew something like this would happen!

You think its going to be all happy and lovely and then boom! everything changes..

Oh book 2 when can I have you?

My Review- Maybe Baby Lite (Book 1)

When she encounters Trey Sinclair, an arrogant high-powered attorney things start to change. They have chemistry and are drawn to each other yet they push each other away.When Tylar's past starts creating chaos in her present Trey is there to help out.

Her disturbing past issues keep getting brought up and it seems like it wont go away.After piecing it all together Trey is determined to protect her.There are alot of challenges and unexpected turn of events, will they bring Trey and Tylar together? Or will it take them further apart?

“He reached over, cupping my face in his hands and lowered his face to kiss me gently. I was so in need of my Trey fix; I felt at peace.”

Okay this is one lonngg book buttt it was worth it! I think it would have been better with bits cut out at times it was slow and I really think it should have had mixed POVs Trey and Tylar's so we get to see the whole picture.I felt like Trey was closed off and I really wanted to know what was happening with him and what he was thinking..

Both Tylar and Trey have past issues which they need to work through so it doesn't effect their relationship

I felt Trey was immature at times and I hated that he didn't fight harder for her he kind of let her go and them tried to make her jealous..he needed to be the bigger person! In the end it was all well though so hey! They both really need to work on their relationship I hope it gets stronger in book 2.

By the time I got to the ending I really I was like ahhh book 2 here I come!!

“I took the liberty of oiling your chair, sir.”

“Thank you, Thatcher,” Trey replied, a devilish grin gracing his lips. I blushed crimson.”

This book was hot with plenty of angst, mystery, love, unexpected twists and of course an alpha male ;)

Can Lila and Nathan heal and finally move forward?

This is book two of the Breach series and after reading Dissolution (Breach #1.5),a Novella from Nathan POV, which was heart-breaking and made me love Nathan even more, I really had to have this book..And then K.I.Lynn you awesome woman sent an ARC I was over the moon *happy dancing* :D

Infraction starts off where the previous book left off, Lila is at the hospital after the car crash she was in and things continue from there..

This book was a lot more about growth in Nathan and Lila's relationship they have a lot of issues to work on they both need help and fucking away problems or pushing each other away wasn't working at all..

Whilst the first book Breach focused more on their sexual relationship Infraction focused on Nathan and Lila getting better and being free from their past traumatic experiences.

"The mask was gone, and for the first time I was seeing the true Nathan without any inhibitions. He was raw and lay before me. More beautiful than usual in his agony."

Both the main characters are broken and lost until they find each other..struggling with their pasts and haunted by heartbreaking memories how do they improve their relationship..

Nathan needs to gain Lila's trust after he destroyed it in Breach. He is consumed with past guilt which is slowly eating away at him. Will he be able to forgive himself?

Lila has her own troubles and is scared to let Nathan in again but she also knows she cant live without him. I felt that Lila's character became stronger and more stable than how it was in the previous book.

We find out a lot more about Nathans past and why he did the things he did. You find out more about his demons and what haunts him and it makes you fall even deeper in love with his character! I just wanted to give him a big hug (among other things) and make him feel better..

To move forward Nathan needs to make peace with himself, his demons are in his head, his guilt, anger, frustration is all aimed at himself.

"After everything, there was still that rope that bound us together, pulling me to him."

The ending took me by surprise! And had me thing whatttttt? Thats it??

yes I had a mini panic attack until I saw that there is another book in the series *phew*

Overall I really enjoyed this book,a beautiful, intense, heartbreaking story filled with forgiveness and love..

"He was furious, fists clenched at his side, and I could tell he wanted an outlet. It was amusing to play with him, so I laid it on thicker, smiling and waving at him like I was on parade. He growled. My smile turned to a glare. Spoilsport."

Yes yes I thoroughly enjoyed this book! :D

5 Heart Rending Stars!

If you haven't read book 1 which is Breach you better get reading!

I think I just died a little inside!This short novella caused an uproar of emotion in me..Oh Nathan!Reading this made me fall for Nathan even more than before he is such a tortured soul and you just want him to be happy again!

This is just what I needed after reading Breach which is in Lila's POV you dont really understand Nathan and we dont know much about his past and what happened to him..

"I wouldn’t let what happened to her happen to Lila. I couldn’t. Lila would live. Lila would meet someone worthy and start a family. Lila would be happy.

But not with me.

A sob erupted from my chest, startling me."

This novella was brilliant, it built Nathans character and gave us an insight to what he was going through..And it was heart breaking! Nathan has a lot of demons he has to fight on a daily basis.Lila is the same as Nathan, they are both tortured souls with a fucked up pasts.They understand and need each other but Nathan let her go and now everything is worse than before..

Oh Nathan!

When the hell is book 2 being released bacause I need it.. right about NOW!

3.5- 4 Stars

Mia Lauren a single, twenty-one-year old who is in desperate need of money so when an unexpected offer arises to work at Enthrall, L.A.'s premier fetish club for the wealthy Mia leaps at the chance.

She ends up working for a Broody, Hot Richard Booth who has many issues of his own. He wants Mia gone she is too innocent and wont be able to handle the job.

"Mia, they're sex balls," said Penny.

My jaw dropped. "You mean you put them in your....?"

"Yes," said Scarlet.

I placed the box on the table. "It's bad enough having to put a tampon up there let alone something like this."

Silence reined and I read nothing but surprise on their faces.

"Ok then," said Richard and he headed out with his coffee.

I waited for him to leave. "Monsieur Trourville asked me to put this in each time he visited. I thought they were earrings."

But Mia needs this job and she will do anything to keep it..

Richard Booth doesn't do relationships, he is a broken man who lost everything. His feeling for Mia, his secretary at Enthrall scare him and because of this he pushes her away. He cant have a normal relationship and Mia would want something normal right? something he can't give her?

Maybe it's some unspoken promise he'll be more than he is because of it"

Another main character in this book is Cameron Cole who is Richard's best friend and also the club's psychiatrist.His role and how he helps people is rather vague and I wanted to know more and to understand him better. He sets up Mia and Richard so that they fall in love with each other but has it gone wrong?

Has he fallen for the innocent enticing Mia?

Cameron scared me in a good way! he had that dangerous vibe going and I felt captivated by him. His intelligence and manipulative behaviour had me intrigued..

I really enjoyed parts of this book,it is funny, hot, surprising and I am looking forward to the next book as the ending was abrupt and had me confused.I hope it continues and we find out more about what is going on..oh and I hope there is more of Cameron!

I found Cameron and Richards "friendship" a little strange..Richard are you gay? (just a little bit?)

Is it weird that I was more attracted to Cameron than to Richard?

I really wanted to know more about him, why he decided to become a psychiatrist why he is how he is..the details are rather vague, maybe in the next book more will be revealed..

"I may well be the flame but Cameron's the one who loves to watch you burn"

This book is not an erotica and has very mild BSDM.
