Blog Tour/Review/Giveaway: Truth Or Dare (His Wicked Games, #2) By Ember Casey

Synopsis
After their passionate, heated weekend at the Cunningham estate, Lily and Calder have decided to take their relationship to the next level. But love in the real world isn’t all fun and games—especially when it becomes clear that Calder still harbors his share of secrets.
When Calder suggests they hold off on sex for a while, Lily knows something is seriously wrong—and she’s not afraid to pull out the big guns. She makes Calder a proposal he can’t refuse: an ongoing match of Truth or Dare that she hopes will bring them closer together both physically and emotionally.
But as the contest increases in intensity, so do the stakes, and suddenly Lily and Calder have to face the question they’ve both been avoiding: what sort of relationship do they have when they strip away all the games?

My Review
4 Funny, Quick, Wicked stars!

This is a short book filled with a little bit of everything, drama, humour, romance, heartbreak and more!
I enjoyed the first book and was interested to see how the story would continue and what would happen with Calder and Lily's relationship. In book 1 His Wicked Games they were pretty much all alone and the games helped build a sort of bond but what would happen when other stuff gets in the way? They aren't alone anymore what happens when jobs and distance gets in the way? Will their relationship survive or was it doomed from the beginning?

"My time at his estate changed me. Calder challenged me. He made me feel wilder, stronger, and more alive than I've ever felt before. I don't want to go back to being "ordinary" me again.

Lily and her father are still struggling for money and her father's opinion on Calder isn't a positive one.Lily is hiding her relationship as she doesn't want to explain how they got together, I mean come on, Dad we fucked in his mansion oh and in my car doesn't sound good haha!

Calder is struggling with his new life and Lily can sense it but what can you do if the person you care about doesn't want to open up? As much as she wants to help him she cant force him.Calder has always been able to handle stuff with money and power but what happens when he is stripped of it all? Without the money, name and power who is he?

So when Calder says he wants to take things slow and hold off on sex Lily gets worried about the distance Calder is putting between them and to get them closer and lighten things up she suggests a game of Truth or Dare. It brings more fun to their relationship as Calder cant ever refuse to play a game.

Calder did some silly stuff I wanted to hit him over the head and tell him to wake the hell up.He didn't realise that he was hurting Lily by distancing himself from her I understand that he didn't want her involved or for her to get hurt but you just cant do that.It made Lily feel useless and pushed to a side at times he needed to let her in because you cant handle everything alone. I loved the sensitive side to Calder, everything that happened to him took its toll and he was vulnerable and hurting.

"Lily, by the end of tonight, I'm going to be your everything."
My everything, my body trembles at the idea.

I'm glad it all worked out at the end but they still have a lot to improve on in the relationship department they are nowhere near perfect but then again who is?
